After over six years since the release of his album SexyBack, with in between a few SNL stins, a MySpace launch, a marriage to Jessica Biel, plus a couple movies–some good, most shitty–Justin Timberlake has a new album coming out! Maybe….

In a very hyperbolic/probably-overly-produced-by-his-PR team video released earlier this week, Timberlake talked about (in voiceover no less) the reasons for the long wait. The, striding into a recording booth, headphones on, he announced, “I’m ready.” Then a COUNTDOWN CLOCK to midnight of THIS SUNDAY January 13th! Whaaaat????

For totally upstaging the Oscars, we say way to go, JT. Major props, Mr. SexyBack.
